Alison Kenny Coyne Associate Diploma 5 star review

I had the pleasure of studying under Mary for my Associate Diploma in Speech and Drama, which I completed in connection to Griffith College. The experience was incredibly positive and rewarding from start to finish. As a primary school teacher, I found that the blended learning structure, which combined both online and in-person sessions, was extremely convenient. It allowed me to balance my professional commitments while still engaging fully with the curriculum.

Mary was an exceptional teacher throughout the duration of the associate. She has a unique ability to bring out the best in her students, whether in developing new skills or encouraging creativity and confidence. Her support and guidance were invaluable, especially during the practical elements of the course, where her feedback was always constructive and inspiring.
What stood out the most was Mary’s dedication to ensuring all of our success. She took the time to tailor her teaching to suit our needs and was always approachable, whether for advice, clarification, additional help, or a chat! Thanks to her, I have now achieved my associate diploma in speech and drama. I definitely feel more equipped in my teaching career and confident in applying my new skills in both the classroom and beyond.

I highly recommend Mary as a teacher for anyone looking to deepen their knowledge and abilities in speech and drama.

I began my Diploma journey with Mary last September. The help, support, and encouragement I got from Mary was second to none. Mary’s knowledge of the content and skills, as well as her amazing practical experience and teaching style, made my experience so enjoyable.

Mary will challenge you to get the best out of you, yet she manages to do this in a very comfortable way. I cannot recommend Mary enough. I look forward to bringing this qualification to my secondary school students.

Ruth Craig Associate Diploma 5 star review

I just completed the Associate Diploma in Speech and Drama with Mary. I was returning to Speech and Drama after years of not doing anything and Mary was fantastic. She far exceeded my expectations of support and expertise adapting the course work to me individually and working to my changing availability. She’s a fantastic teacher who guided me through every step of the process, she has fantastic insight and really goes that extra mile for her students. Nothing is too much.

I should add I did everything remotely. It’s honestly thanks to Mary that I passed with results I am proud of. Looking forward to the next chapter of passing on this life skills to the next generation, Could not recommend working with Mary more!!

Katie McDermott Associate Diploma 5 Star Review

I enrolled in the Mary Whelan Fox School of Elocution, Speech, and Drama to pursue my Associate of Teaching diploma. Throughout my journey, Mary provided invaluable personal and professional guidance, ensuring I was fully prepared for both practical and written exams.

Under her mentorship, my confidence as both a performer and a teacher flourished. Mary not only imparted knowledge but also encouraged me to explore and refine my own teaching approach. Beyond being an exceptional teacher, she became a mentor and friend. I am deeply grateful for her support and wholeheartedly recommend her.

Adrienne Lee (Play Act Drama) Licentiate Diploma 5 Star Review

Mary Whelan Fox is expert in her field, excellent to work with and makes everything so accessible. She will literally meet you where you are at on your pedagogical journey. I had a toddler and baby when I was studying with Mary. Her approach is gentle, kind, adaptable, flexible, and she created a safe space where as a group we had so much fun along the way.

I loved my time studying under Mary expert eye and I could not recommend her highly enough to anyway. She continues to be at the end of the phone with business advice, support and chats. Mary has a knack of pushing you and getting the most out of you, she believes in you and makes sure you reach your full potential. I wouldn’t have got through my Licentiate Diploma without her constant reassurance. I’m so glad our paths crossed.
